Protect your skin from UV radiation


Recent research suggests you to eat certain foods to help protect skin from sun radiation. The following foods can give you protection against the adverse effects of sunlight on skin cells.





1. Acidic fruits

Based on recent research on men and women, it is known that acidic fruits like oranges, lemons, limes, and other substance have a strong limonene that can reduce the risk of skin cancer by up to 34%.


2. Green tea

Research found that green tea is rich in anti-oxidants called BGCG. Among all the benefits BGCG, one of which is to stop the genetic damage in skin cells exposed to sun exposure.


3. Carrots

Carrots or vegetables and other fruits that are red, yellow, and orange, it is very rich in carotenoids. Research shows that these substances can reduce the adverse effects of solar radiation. Other vegetable rich in carotenoids and good for preventing sun-damaged skin is red pepper.


4. Spinach

6. Walnut

Such as salmon, walnuts contain fatty acids that can protect your skin from the damaging effects of UV radiation in sunlight.
